The Elman Induction

The Key Points to an Elman Induction:

A)  It should never last more than 4 minutes - ideally 2- 3 minutes ( before Deepeners - like the Beach, losing your name, Down levels  A to B to C etc)

B) Four Key Parts

  1.  Eyes Close and Test
  2.  Count to 10 ( or Fractionation)
  3.  Arm Drop
  4.  Lose the numbers
C) Deepeners - BEACH (Lose name)  and DOWN levels A to B , B to C.

 

NOTE: The Elman is very easy to use in an online session Change - with fractionation - snap fingers or click on microphone or click pen - for the eyes to close

With arm drop - skip entirely - you will find it works just as well if not better online

The Elman Induction is the cornerstone of modern Hypnosis Inductions - and I make no structural changes - who needs to! - merely an update from the 1950 tradition

This is an example of a demo of an Elman Induction in a LIVE setting. Most of my work now is online - and I have paired down the Elman even more - and it works great online. You don't need the arm drop or the touching. 

I find online work in Hypnosis is generally more effective than LIVE - bot for Clients and Students
